Introducing a screening of Andrew Haigh’s All of Us Strangers, and celebrating it’s queer suburban Croydonness. When the David Lean Cinema asked what film I’d show if I could, to go alongside my book Tales of the Suburbs, there was only one possible choice. I’ll be talking about the shared themes of the film and my book, and celebrating the art of ugly crying at Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s The Power of Love. Tickets on sale 16th July.
